President and Chief Executive Officer
EMCOR Mechanical Construction Services
Brian leads operations for all of the mechanical subsidiaries of EMCOR Construction Services (ECS) across the country. He charts and executes the growth and development of ECS with a focus on safety and continuous improvement. Brian is deeply committed to integrity, teamwork, and discipline, and, in all his work, he strives to ensure that ECS is delivering the outstanding quality and exceptional customer service that the industry has come to expect from EMCOR.
Before holding his current position, Brian was the CEO of Batchelor & Kimball, Inc. (B&K), one of the south’s leading mechanical contractors and a current EMCOR subsidiary. During his tenure, he and his team grew B&K fourfold, expanding the company into multiple new geographies, developing their manufacturing and fabrication capabilities, and diversifying the organization into new industry verticals.
He began his career as an engineer for Johnson Controls and later developed corporate legal experience at Jones Day, representing public and private companies and private equity groups during mergers, acquisitions, intellectual property cases, and more.
Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Vanderbilt University, as well as a Master of Business Administration and Juris Doctor from Emory University where he was a Rothfeder Scholar. Further, Brian is a State Bar of Georgia member and registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Outside of work, Brian spends most of his time with his wife and three children. He enjoys fly fishing, golfing, and snow skiing, and he and his family are also involved in their church and local community.
